American Express seeks a Benelux/Netherlands focused Business Operations Analyst to join the Global Merchant & Network Services. The role coordinates regional workstreams, governance routines, audits and second-line testing, combining PMO discipline, risk governance and process improvement.

You will report to the AEPE Business Operations Manager Benelux. The ideal candidate will drive management reporting, evidence management and scalable processes across markets, collaborating with Legal,

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience in PMO, Business Operations, Risk Management, Governance, Audit, Compliance or regulatory/project delivery.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or workstreams with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience preparing management reporting, dashboards or governance materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of deliverables.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the confidence to follow up and elevate when needed.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AEPE Business Operations programmes and workstreams with plans, milestones, actions, dependencies and risks.
• Prepare governance materials, status updates and management reporting for regional forums and leadership reviews.
• Support portfolio prioritization and visibility of demand, capacity and delivery progress.
• Provide PMO coordination for audits, regulatory examinations and 2LOD activities, including ICT reviews.
• Maintain structured documentation and evidence repositories to ensure traceability and accessibility.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc dashboards, governance packs and executive presentations.
• Design and maintain SharePoint solutions and reporting tools to support processes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit to enable business operations.
