Job summary

Sioux Technologies in Eindhoven is looking for a Real Time Motion Platform Software Designer to design software controlling complex machines and high-tech systems. You'll support customers in integrating system control software for industries including semiconductor and cleantech.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in software engineering with expertise in Real-Time Linux, C++, and EtherCAT, and a passion for mentoring a team. This role offers flexible working hours and a substantial training budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including software design.
• Strong affinity with real-time systems, focusing on clean architecture.
• Ambition to grow into senior/architect role.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into feasible concepts during project initiation.
• Guide and mentor a team of (senior) engineers.
• Own a module or sub-system throughout the software development cycle.
