Job summary

Sioux Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for high-tech products from our Apeldoorn office and at customer sites. You will work on C, C++, and Rust in real-time environments, collaborating with electronics and mechatronics engineers on modular architectures and robust solutions.

You typically hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Embedded Systems or related fields and have 2–3 years of experience, with Dutch and English proficiency and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux and embedded environments.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture.
• Dutch and English proficiency spoken and written.
• Valid European driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C, C++, and Rust for high-tech systems.
• Build and optimize applications on real-time platforms.
• Design modular software architectures with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
• Debug and analyze complex embedded systems.
• Collaborate with electronics and mechatronics engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical decisions and system architecture discussions.
