Job summary

Amiio is seeking a domain expert in real estate finance to translate financial workflows into AI-enabled skills. You will work with finance teams, asset managers and controllers, shaping how Amiio models and automates reporting, budgeting and portfolio analysis.

You’ll partner with Product, Data and Engineering to ensure the domain knowledge is embedded across the platform and delivered end-to-end. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in real estate finance, e.g. asset management, controlling, fund or portfolio reporting.
• A relevant degree in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, business or a similar field.
• Strong financial foundation: reporting, accounting structures, budgeting and portfolio performance; able to read a rent roll and a P&L.
• Commercial instinct: understand decisions behind managing properties and portfolios, not just numbers.
• Curiosity about technology; you don’t need to code but want to learn how AI skills, data and knowledge graphs work.

Responsibilities

• Be the domain expert in the room with finance teams, controllers and asset managers; learn how they really work and challenge existing steps.
• Turn financial workflows into AI skills: map reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and portfolio analysis into Amiio skills; partner with Data and Engineering for delivery.
• Review how users interact with the platform, identify where it misreads the domain, research gaps, and expand the knowledge model; contribute beyond tickets.
• Shape what we build next by sharing learnings with Product and Engineering to decide reusable skills and features for all customers.

Job description

You'll be a core domain expert at Amiio, making sure everything we build reflects how real estate finance teams actually work.

Great real estate AI needs hands-on finance experience behind it: how NOI is built up, why a service charge reconciliation goes wrong, what an asset manager checks before a hold or sell decision. You'll bring that depth into every skill we build, which puts this role at the core of our vision, not on the side of it.

You'll be involved from the first customer conversation to what we ship next, working closely with our founders, Product, Data and Engineering.

What you will do

Be the domain expert in the room. Sit with finance teams, controllers and asset managers. Learn how they really work, and challenge the steps that exist only because they always have.

Turn financial workflows into AI skills. Take reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations and portfolio analysis and rebuild them as skills in Amiio. Map the customer's data with our Data and Engineering teams and own the result from discovery to delivery.

Teach Amiio real estate. Review how users interact with the platform, spot where it misreads the domain, research the gap and expand our knowledge model. Much of this won't come from a ticket; you'll find it yourself.Shape what we build next. Bring what you learn to Product and Engineering and help decide which reusable skills and features every customer gets.

What you bring

2+ years in real estate finance, for example in asset management, controlling, fund or portfolio reporting, or advisory.

A relevant degree in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, business or a similar field.

A strong financial foundation. You're at home in financial reporting, accounting structures, budgeting and portfolio performance, and you can read a rent roll and a P&L without a guide.

Commercial instinct. You understand the decisions behind managing properties and portfolios, not only the numbers that report on them.

Curiosity about technology. You don't need to code. You do want to learn how AI skills, data and knowledge graphs work, and to work side by side with engineers.

Ownership. You spot what needs improving and act on it without waiting to be asked.

Fluent English. Dutch is a plus.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with real estate or financial systems such as Yardi, MRI or Exact.

Exposure to SaaS implementations, workflow automation or AI tools.
