Job summary

Mileway invites an ambitious student to join the Portfolio & Financial Management, Reporting team for a 6-month internship in Amsterdam. You will support portfolio reporting, turn data into insights, and help automate reporting processes in a fast‑paced, international setting.

You'll report to the Portfolio Reporting Manager and gain exposure to leadership insights, with collaboration across IT, Finance and Property Management. The role emphasizes hands-on learning and real impact.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, real estate, data/technology, or a related field.
• Available for a 6-month internship, full-time (40 hours per week)
• A genuine interest in technology, data and automation — comfortable with tools like Excel, AI and curious about how reporting processes can be streamlined.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an interest in working with complex and large data sets.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle a few tasks or requests at once.
• A problem-solving mindset — you enjoy figuring things out and seeing a task through.
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions and explain what you find.
• A team player's attitude — you build relationships easily and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Outstanding command of English. Additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio reporting delivery — assist with the preparation and quality-checking of recurring and ad hoc portfolio performance reporting, helping ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency across key operational metrics.
• Help turn data into insights — support the team in translating performance data into clear, structured analysis for senior stakeholders, learning how to spot trends, drivers and risks in the numbers.
• Contribute to reporting automation — bring your interest in technology to initiatives that automate and streamline reporting processes, working alongside IT, Property Management, Finance and other business functions to reduce manual effort and improve output quality.
• Get exposure across workstreams — rotate across operational real estate areas, building a broad view of how portfolio reporting works end to end.
• Collaborate across the business — build working relationships with Property Management, Finance, IT and other functions to understand how reporting connects to the wider portfolio.
