Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Development Specialist to join the Global R&D, Technology Solutions group. You will lead technology development projects from research to implementation, collaborating with NPD, Engineering and Operations to deliver on-time results.

Responsibilities include planning and budgeting, driving pilot or plant trials, and producing technical documentation such as factbooks. You will apply DoE and statistical tools, work with cross‑functional teams, and travel internationally as

Qualifications

• Experience executing laboratory, pilot plant or industrial scale trials with a high level of autonomy.
• Experience with design of experiments (DoE) and statistical tools.
• Academic degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering/Food Technology/Food Science or equivalent.
• 2–5 years post studies relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-sized technology development projects or workstreams within larger projects.
• Plan, budget, and allocate resources for projects/workstreams.
• Collaborate with engineering, packing, and category teams to ensure on-time in-full delivery.
• Support writing technology factbooks and Commissioning, Qualification, Verification preparation and completion.
• Execute and lead pilot or plant trials; report findings to JDE stakeholders and project teams; provide technical consultancy.
