Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Development Specialist to lead technology projects from research through implementation within Global R&D, Technology Solutions. You will collaborate with NPD, Engineering and Operations to ensure on-time, in-full project delivery.

The role requires experience in executing lab, pilot plant or industrial scale trials, DoE and statistical tools, and the ability to travel internationally as project needs dictate. A relevant engineering/food science degree is required.

Qualifications

• Leading R&D technology projects.
• Experience executing laboratory, pilot plant or industrial trials with autonomy.
• DoE and statistical tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-sized technology development projects or workstreams within larger programs.
• Plan budgets and resources for projects/workstreams.
• Collaborate with engineering, packing and category teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support writing technology factbooks and commissioning, qualification and verification prep.
