Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, the Netherlands, is seeking a skilled Technician to join our R&D team. You’ll build and maintain prototypes of units and modules, provide feedback to engineers and designers, and help shape the future of our products.

Qualifications

• Secondary vocational degree in mechanical engineering (MBO).
• 3–10 years of experience.
• Experience with Siemens NX or eagerness to learn.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders.
• English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain prototypes of units and modules for product development.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to enhance prototypes.
• Develop test setups and support lifetime testing.
• Support research and design efforts.
• Work on components such as media handling systems, high-precision frames, drive systems, print head mountings, fixation units and other integral parts of our machines.
