Job summary

Sioux Technologies Eindhoven seeks a Prototype Mechanical Technician to assemble, adjust, inspect, and test advanced machines and sub-assemblies, contributing to early product development and ensuring quality through hands‑on work.

You will read drawings (NX), work with CNC/manual tooling, and propose improvements while collaborating with a team in a hybrid environment. The role requires strong communication in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO (vocational) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with precision mechanics and mechatronics in high‑tech instruments and equipment.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings, preferably NX, including 3D models and technical drawings.
• Experience manufacturing parts on lathes and milling machines, both conventional and CNC, is an advantage.
• You are resourceful, creative, independent, and enthusiastic.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and adjust mechatronic modules and systems.
• Test modules and complete machines.
• Troubleshoot problems in the assembly process.
• Modify components using machining equipment (e.g., CNC).
• Identify and propose process and product improvements.
• Be involved as a Prototype Mechanical Technician from the earliest product design phases and provide valuable technical input.
