Zusammenfassung

Koninklijke Verkade, part of pladis, invites an enthusiastic R&D Packaging intern to join our packaging team in the Netherlands. You will help develop and optimize packaging, manage data, and support trials in factory/co-manufacturer settings.

This is a five- to six-month internship with a friendly, collaborative environment. You should be a 3rd or 4th year student in Food Science packaging or related, proficient with Excel, able to work autonomously, and comfortable communicating in English

Qualifikationen

• 3rd or 4th year student with a Bachelor or Master Degree in Food Science (packaging specialization), Technical packaging, industrial engineering or similar.
• Proficient at managing large data sets and Excel.
• Self-starter with proactive and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks; good English skills; Dutch is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Structuring and maintaining a technical central data base for packaging material and finished product specifications.
• Creating and updating the packaging visual standards (VST) for our product portfolio.
• Assist the packaging team in trial execution, pilot plant testing and reporting.
• Assist the packaging technologist with plant troubleshooting and data collection.
• Lead a project on recycle readiness/productivity under supervision.
• Ensure all work follows GMPs and safety guidelines.
• Support scheduling and resource planning for packaging projects.
• Record and report results and recommendations clearly.
