Job summary

everox is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to run our Advanced Characterization Lab in Rotterdam. You will test concrete materials using XRD, XRF, FTIR, laser diffraction, calorimetry and TGA, preparing samples and documenting results to support new concrete mixes and low-carbon cement replacements.

You’ll manage lab operations, maintain SOPs, and generate clear reports for R&D engineers. The role is on-site at SubZero in Rotterdam, four days a week, with growth potential to a senior position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with XRD, XRF, FTIR, laser diffraction, calorimetry, TGA and acid leaching workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute advanced characterization tests on concrete materials (XRD, XRF, FTIR, laser diffraction, calorimetry, TGA).
• Document tests and ensure traceability of results.
• Prepare samples (crushing, milling, sieving) and plan lab calendar/instrument bookings.
