Job summary

Everox in Rotterdam is seeking a Temporary Laboratory Technician to join our lab team for about two months. You will operate crushers, sieves and ball mills to produce aggregates and fines, carbonate materials, and prepare samples for R&D and customers.

You will document process parameters, run small-scale campaigns, and support the ACL and QCL with testing, data summaries and housekeeping. A hands-on, safety-conscious mindset helps you thrive here.

Qualifications

• MBO-4, HBO or BSc in Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering or related field (in progress allowed).
• At least 1 year hands-on lab, pilot plant or processing environment experience.
• Comfortable operating crushers, mills, sieves and pressurized gas systems with basic troubleshooting.
• Sufficient Excel skills to clean, analyze and visualize process data.
• Organised, safety-conscious, flexible and able to switch between tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate jaw crusher, sieving equipment and two ball mills to produce aggregates, sand and fines.
• Run carbonation experiments and campaigns in carbonators with setup, monitoring and safe shutdown.
• Plan and execute material production batches for R&D and customer samples, including labeling and custody.
• Log process parameters and build basic data analyses and clear reports.
• Support ACL and QCL with sample prep, testing, housekeeping and inventory.
• Be a flexible lab team member by filling gaps and suggesting workflow improvements.
