Job summary

JDE Peet's is offering an R&D Food Safety Intern position at our Utrecht headquarters, beginning March 2026. You will support standardization and digitalization of the HACCP program across the facility network, aligning practices with certification standards and company requirements.

You will work with central and factory quality teams to assess practices, develop templates, and contribute to training materials for global rollout, gaining hands-on experience in food safety and quality systems

Qualifications

Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship.
Strong MS Office skills and fluent English.
Commitment of at least 5 months (Mar–Aug 2026).
Availability: 5 days/week, 3 in-office, 1–2 remote.

Responsibilities

Conduct literature review on HACCP best practices, with focus on hazard controls.
Develop standardized HACCP templates, decision trees, and risk assessment tools.
Contribute to the digitalization strategy by evaluating platforms for HACCP docs, monitoring and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company requirements and certification standards.
Create training materials and SOPs to facilitate global rollout of the digital HACCP program.
