Job summary

Ketjen Corporation seeks a Technician III to join the Clean Fuels Technology R&D team. You will execute experiments, support projects, and help ensure safe, reliable operation of laboratory and pilot plant facilities.

The role combines lab work, scale-up support, and process development within a dynamic R&D environment. The candidate will translate research questions into experimental plans, operate diverse equipment, and contribute to documentation and data analysis.

Qualifications

• . HBO-level education in chemical technology or related field with 1–3 years of relevant practical experience.
• . Demonstrated affinity with hands-on experimental work and safe operation of lab and pilot plant equipment.
• . Strong safety awareness and disciplined approach to HSE requirements.
• . Proficient in Dutch and English for documentation and communication.
• . Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across lab, pilot plant, and scale-up activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and independently execute laboratory and pilot plant experiments.
• Translate research questions and literature findings into practical experimental plans and equipment setups.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab and pilot plant equipment safely and reliably.
• Maintain equipment and documentation in accordance with QHSE requirements.
• Collaborate with technicians, scientists, engineers, and project teams to achieve goals.
• Record conditions, results, and conclusions in LIMS and data systems.
• Analyze data and validate results; support scale-up and trials as needed.
