Job summary

Ketjen Corporation is seeking a Technician III to join the Clean Fuels Technology R&D team in Amsterdam. You will lead laboratory and pilot plant experiments, translate research questions into actionable plans, and ensure safe, high-quality results across development activities.

You will work closely with engineers and scientists, maintain instruments, document findings in LIMS, and help scale up processes while adhering to HSE standards. Strong Dutch and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• HBO level in chemical technology or related discipline with 1–3 years of practical experience.
• Hands-on experimental work and safe operation of lab and pilot equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and independently execute laboratory and pilot plant experiments within assigned R&D projects.
• Translate research questions into practical experimental plans, test methods, and equipment configurations.
• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adapt laboratory and pilot plant equipment for safe, reliable results.
• Record experimental conditions, observations, results and conclusions in LIMS and data systems.
• Collaborate with technicians, scientists, engineers, and project teams to achieve goals.
• Analyze and statistically validate experimental data to generate robust conclusions.
