Job summary

QphoX is seeking a Device Design Engineer (D/F/M) in Delft, Netherlands to develop and build our quantum transducers. You will contribute to the next generation of integrated quantum devices and improve performance, while being trained to join one of the world’s leading groups in microwave-to-optical transducers.

You will design for both production and R&D, monitor device performance, and collaborate across fabrication, measurement, and simulation teams to advance the design ecosystem.”

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field with related work experience.
• Experience with integrated photonics and MEMS device generation and layout.
• Proficient in Python for design workflows.
• Familiarity with quality management or quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Design implementation for production and R&D of transducers.
• Device performance monitoring and analysis of transducer measurements.
• Monitoring of transducer fabrication processes.
• Organizing, maintaining and upgrading the device design codebase.
• Automating the design process and data analysis.
• Collaborating with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists.
