Job summary

QphoX is seeking a Device Design Engineer to join our team developing quantum transducers. You will design and implement production and R&D transducers, monitor performance, and help elevate our next generation of integrated quantum devices.

You will also maintain the device design codebase and automate workflows while collaborating with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists. The role requires a Master’s degree or higher with relevant experience in photonics, MEMS, and data-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in integrated photonics and MEMS device generation and layout.
• Proficiency with Python programming for design and data processing.
• Familiarity with quality management or quality control processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design implementation for production and R&D of transducers.
• Monitor device performance through fabrication and measurement analyses.
• Organize, maintain and upgrade the device design codebase.
• Automate the design process and analyze gathered data.
• Collaborate with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists.
