Job summary

SMART Photonics, located on the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, seeks a System Manager to own and continuously improve our Management System, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer requirements, and applicable standards.

You will collaborate with the Quality team and other departments, coordinating audits and driving improvements, training, and quality planning. You’ll report to the Quality Manager and help scale our growth with robust, proactive process management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree required.
• Experience implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
• Experience with audits (internal and external).
• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, CAPA, 8D).
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with ownership.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Business Management System to meet ISO9001 and customer requirements.
• Manage changes and transitions of the Management System and ensure effective implementation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including customer audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Management System.
• Promote good documentation practices across the organization.
• Support the team with risks/impact analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (8D).
