We are currently seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Rotterdam Trading Office, located in Delft, the Netherlands.
Aselectionof your responsibilities within your role:
Handling quality claims, performing trend analysis, and preparing regular quality reports
Executing Own Brand risk assessments and supporting product development projects
Conducting QC inspections for stock intakes, first delivery inspections, pre-shipment checks, and following up on corrective actions
Monitoring supplier compliance, food safety certifications, audit reports, and laboratory analysis results
Maintaining quality documentation, traceability records, supplier files, and reporting systems
Supporting supplier audits, traceability exercises, recalls, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and customer requirements
Organizing andmaintainingup-to-date records in QA systems, databanks, and collaboration platforms

Have...
A minimumbachelor’s degree in food science, Food Safety, Quality, Technical, Business, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a similar specialist role
Knowledge of EU food safety legislation and quality standards
Experience working with audits, supplier assessments, or GFSI standards is considered a plus
Dedicatedproficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
The ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
