Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in the Netherlands seeks a dedicated QA Coordinator to join our quality team across our Venlo and Belfeld facilities. This senior role supports the QA Manager, driving quality initiatives and fostering a culture of food safety and excellence.

You will update quality procedures, manage complaints and holds, conduct inspections, and participate in internal audits while leading continuous improvement across production. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
• Demonstrated leadership in a senior QA role or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English for internal and external communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality procedures and the quality handbook in collaboration with the QE Manager.
• Handle internal and external complaints related to production, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Manage and follow up on product holds and resolve quality issues across production processes.
• Conduct process and product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Organize and participate in internal audits and hygiene inspections.
• Prepare and review product specifications and documentation.
• Follow the annual Quality & Environment plan and ensure tasks are completed.
• Act as a liaison between departments to promote awareness and adherence to food safety and quality protocols.
• Lead by example to motivate production staff and raise awareness around food safety practices.

• Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Experience in a senior QA role is preferred, with a focus on continuous improvement and leadership.
