Royal Ingredients Group, based in Alkmaar and part of the Cefetra Group, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality team in the Netherlands and oversee QA in the USA. You will develop and guarantee the quality policy and QMS, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate audits and certifications.
You will manage risk-based supplier management, ensure Food & Feed Safety compliance, and report on KPIs and the annual quality plan. The role requires strong leadership and cross-border collaboration.

As a Quality Manager, you develop and guarantee the quality policy and our Quality Management System (QMS). You will ensure a consistent and practical working method in the field of Quality, Food & Feed Safety and compliance within our organisation. You monitor risks, translate customer, legal and certification requirements into internal processes and drive continuous improvement. In addition, you lead the Quality team in the Netherlands and you manage the QA Administrator in the USA functionally.
You continuously develop and improve the quality policy and ensure that it remains audit-proof.
You lead, coach and develop the Quality team
You guarantee Food & Feed Safety, compliance and relevant laws and regulations and lead the HACCP consultations, among other things.
You identify quality and food safety risks, assess trends and translate them into structural improvement actions.
You will ensure a risk-based supplier management program and assess and qualify suppliers based on risk, performance and compliance.
You monitor and improve complaint handling
You coordinate management reviews, risk analyses and external audits and ensure the maintenance of certifications such as IFS, ISO 22000, GMP+ and Organic.
You draw up KPIs and the annual quality plan and report on them
You act as a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders.
You stimulate knowledge sharing and quality awareness within the organization and coordinate relevant training courses.
You have a HBO/WO working and thinking level.
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience within quality, including experience in a coordinating or managerial role.
You have experience with team development and functional management, also remotely.
You have good knowledge of relevant standards, audits, laws and regulations and Food & Feed Safety.
You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
You work in a structured way, monitor progress and combine risk awareness with a pragmatic approach.

You will work within our QESHS domain and work closely with colleagues from different disciplines. You will report to our QESHS Director.
Our office in Alkmaar currently has approximately 69 colleagues and is located in the Overstad business park, within walking distance of the center and the station. Parking is available in the garage under the office.
