Qualifications

• Voorbereiden en leiden van interne en externe audits.

Quality Assurance Manager

To safeguard the quality of our ambitious goals and growth, we are looking for a:

Manager Quality Assurance

(40 hours per week)

The organisation

Since 1990, Zesty has been specialising in Asian foods and ingredients as an importer and manufacturer. We have a strong focus on natural foods that have an authentic character and the best price/quality ratio.

Our assortment varies from single ingredients, via semi-final products and consumer products in the categories of sauces, noodles, rice products, seaweed snacks and ready to eat meals.

What you’ll do

As QA Manager, you will be responsible for our quality system in all its dimensions. You communicate with suppliers, customers, government officials and relevant organisations. As a QA manager of a growing company, your job starts multidisciplinary with room to grow into a senior management position as the organisation is growing with you.

Your activities include:

• Food safety management including Hazard & Risk assessment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Product specification management.
• Supplier information and Customer information requirements management.
• Regulations and Standards Management (Record and update).
• Preparing and leading internal & external audits, including BRC/IFS, SKAL and RTRS.
• Managing QC control activities.

Job requirements

• Bachelor/Master degree in Food safety/Food quality management.
• Knowledge of HACCP and general food safety processes.
• Knowledge of QA and Food safety systems such as BRC and IFS standards.
• You are professional in oral and written English.
• Knowledge and interest in food processing is a big advantage.
• 5 years relevant working experience is a must.
• Experience with Product Information Management systems is an advantage.
• Naturally accurate.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Problem Solving.
• Team player.
• Motivated to grow into a management function.
• Ability or willingness to influence change with indirect or limited authority.
