Job summary

Maersk is seeking an HSE Officer for the Maasvlakte Site to implement safety policies in line with national law, ISO/TAPA standards, and customer requirements. You will oversee on-site safety programs and help maintain compliant operations across the site.

You will plan, document, monitor safety processes; perform risk analyses; conduct audits and workplace visits; contribute to prevention and recovery systems, and support leadership with risk-reducing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Planning, documenting, following up and monitoring the implementation of safety processes and procedures.
• Monitoring safety by auditing processes and regular workplace visits.
• Performing risk analysis, understanding the risk profile of the various activities in the area.
• Creating and maintaining systems of prevention and recovery to deal with potential threats to the company through a business continuity plan.
• Providing high level recommendations to reduce identified risks, enabling the decision making of the leadership management.
