Job summary

TOLSA is seeking a QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environment across the Vlaardingen site. The role involves driving continuous improvement, compliance, and a strong HSE culture within an industrial setting.

You will oversee quality controls, audits, and QHSE policies, coordinating risk assessments and training. Fluency in Dutch and English is required to effectively collaborate with operations and management.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional experience in QHSE within an industrial or production environment.
• Technical Engineering or Science degree.
• Solid experience in Quality and Environmental Management Systems, including implementation and internal audits.
• Experience in Health & Safety in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of internal auditing.
• Health & Safety training would be highly valued.
• Proactive, hands-on and pragmatic, with ability to work closely with operational teams and management.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality controls and audits throughout the production process.
• Supervise and support the Quality Control team (2 employees).
• Manage non-conformities and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve QHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
• Coordinate risk assessments, RI&E and internal and external audits.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the site.
• Coordinate HSE training, toolbox talks, BHV and prevention activities.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and ISO management systems.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare QHSE reports and provide guidance to site management.
