Job summary

NEM Energy Group is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee quality from sales through CE/ASME stamping of boilers. You specify manufacturing requirements for pressure parts, steel structures, and equipment, produced by third parties, and plan inspections at supplier sites to ensure compliance with order specs and regulations.

You will work hands-on and also explore design integration, cooperating closely with Sales and Engineering to guarantee the final product meets all codes and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with familiarity of ASME, AWS and EN 12952.
• Strong affinity for practical and thermal mechanical engineering.
• IKT or EWT specialization is a prerequisite.
• Ability to translate complex material into clear, practical guidelines.
• Strong communication and coordination in a project team.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• English at least B2.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan pre-inspection and meetings per customer requirements.
• Inspect and approve products at supplier sites.
• Maintain contact with inspection bodies and clients.
• Translate contract/design codes into technical specs for subcontractors.
• Review client specs for fabrication impact and costs.
• Review suppliers’ documentation and handle queries.
• Plan and perform inspections ensuring NEM quality in subcontractors.
• Verify methods used and compliance with procedures.
• Conduct final checks on supplier manufacturing books.
