Job summary

Salto CloudWorks, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a QA Engineer to help deliver high-quality software and cutting-edge access control solutions. You’ll work with developers and the product owner to ensure features meet specs and deliver value, with a focus on API performance and test automation.

You will operate in a collaborative environment, applying knowledge of SDLC in Agile settings and leveraging tools like Postman, JMeter, and GitLab to drive quality and reliability across our cloud-based

As a QA Engineer, you'll do much more than traditional testing. You'll work closely with the development team and product owner to ensure every feature meets functional specifications and delivers exceptional value. Your expertise in validating requirements, identifying risks, and monitoring API performance will be critical in maintaining and enhancing our product's quality.

Your profile

• Experience with API and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter, k6) and database testing

• Experience in relevant automated testing, including how to build and deploy them

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket/Bamboo

• Experience with at least one programming language

• Proven track record in successfully conducting and creating QA tests in highly technical organizations, with hands-on experience with functional testing

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile environment

• Flexible in learning new tools and technologies according to the company's requirements

• Experience with bug tracking, test management, test execution, and defect reports through Test Management tools like TestRail, qTest, QAComplete

• Experience using AI tools in a QA or testing context is a plus

• Experience with IoT is an advantage
