Fusion Worldwide is seeking an experienced Buyer to source and fulfill customer requirements in the electronic components industry. You will negotiate with vendors, provide market feedback to sales and product management, and identify new opportunities while operating across global locations.

The role offers the potential for high earnings through an uncapped commission structure. Based in Amsterdam, you will interact with teams across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, build vendor relationships,

Qualifications

• Based in the Netherlands and able to work on-site.
• Valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.
• Experience in the electronics industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain contact and account information in ERP.
• Grow account revenue, gross profit, and contact level with regular progress reports.
• Maintain records of orders and receipts, resolve discrepancies.
• Source materials and negotiate favorable sale terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions per policies.
• Review PO claims and contracts for conformance to policy.
• Fulfill duties as requested by management.
• Identify short or end-of-life purchase opportunities based on demand.
• Collaborate with Sales to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review BOM to increase gross profit and advise management.

Position Summary

As a Buyer, you will be expected to source and fill customer requirements in the electronic components industry. You will be negotiating transactions and identifying new vendors. You are also going to provide feedback and market information to the sales staff and product management team in real-time by interacting with our other global locations. In addition, you are going to get the opportunity to create demand, keep your eyes open on new opportunities and be a great trader. The role provides the opportunity for exceptional high earning potential with uncapped commissions!

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain contact and account info in ERP system, including any pertinent changes.
• Grow account in revenue, gross profit, and contact level, providing regular progress reports.
• Maintain records of all goods ordered and received, resolving any discrepancies.
• Source materials, equipment, or supplies, and negotiate favorable terms of sale.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Fulfill other duties and obligations as requested by supervisor or management.
• Identify potential purchase opportunities for short or end-of-life products based on confirmed customer demand.
• Work with Sales team to fulfill orders on identified products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Review BOM for lower costs to increase gross profit, making recommendations to management.
