Job summary

WIN SOURCE is seeking a Purchasing Manager to strengthen global supply chain security and competitiveness from Amsterdam. You will expand sourcing channels, establish strategic supplier partnerships and manage critical electronic component sourcing on an international platform.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to negotiate with diverse supplier networks to ensure supply continuity and value creation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement, strategic sourcing or related supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of global electronic component supply markets and major sourcing channels.
• Established supplier relationships and the ability to develop sourcing channels independently.
• Understanding of supplier evaluation, risk management and product authenticity.

Responsibilities

• Global Supplier Development: Develop and maintain global electronic component suppliers (manufacturers, authorized distributors, independent distributors).
• Strategic Sourcing: Expand qualified sourcing channels to improve supply diversity and competitiveness.
• Supply Chain Security: Assess supplier reliability, traceability and risk; collaborate with quality teams.
• Procurement & Commercial Negotiation: Manage RFQs, price negotiations and lead-time confirmation.
• Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: Monitor semiconductor market trends, inventory and pricing dynamics.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships to improve competitiveness and resilience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, procurement, quality and logistics teams to solve sourcing needs.
• Supply Network Optimization: Improve supplier structures for flexibility and reliability.

About the Role

At WIN SOURCE, the Purchasing Manager is not only responsible for sourcing activities, but also plays an important role in strengthening global supply chain security and competitiveness.

You will leverage your industry experience, supplier network and market insights to expand global sourcing channels, establish strategic supplier partnerships, and participate in critical electronic component sourcing and supply risk management.

We are looking for procurement professionals with strong judgment, commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset to create greater business value on an international platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Supplier Development: Develop, evaluate and maintain global electronic component suppliers, including manufacturers, authorized distributors, independent distributors and other reliable sourcing channels.
• Strategic Sourcing: Expand qualified sourcing channels for key electronic components to improve supply diversity and competitiveness.
• Supply Chain Security: Evaluate supplier reliability, product authenticity, traceability and supply interruption risks, working with quality teams to ensure supply security.
• Procurement & Commercial Negotiation: Manage RFQs, price negotiations, lead-time confirmation, purchasing terms and key sourcing projects.
• Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: Monitor global semiconductor market trends, inventory changes, pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics and product lifecycle developments.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build long-term supplier partnerships to improve competitiveness, supply stability and response efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with global sales, procurement, quality and logistics teams to solve complex sourcing needs.
• Supply Network Optimization: Optimize supplier structures and improve supply chain flexibility, reliability and resilience.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development or related supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of global electronic component supply markets, semiconductor distribution and major sourcing channels.
• Established supplier relationships with the ability to independently develop and maintain sourcing channels.
• Understanding of manufacturers, authorized distributors and independent distributors, with the ability to evaluate supplier value and risks.
• Strong market judgment, commercial negotiation, supplier evaluation and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electronic component quality requirements, product authenticity, traceability and supply chain risk management.
• Proactive mindset, ownership and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
