Job summary

Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht is offering an internship that blends operations and administration within the Purchasing Team. You will support daily purchasing and finance tasks, act as main contact for employees and suppliers, and gain international exposure in a luxury hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in hospitality or tourism studies, highly motivated, and fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related study program.
• Trustworthy.
• Hands-on, pro-active and enthusiastic.
• Available for five months or longer.
• Not afraid to make decisions.
• Detail-oriented and approachable.
• Very communicative in English (and ideally also in Dutch).
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch institution (visa/permit not provided).

Responsibilities

• Roll up sleeves and take responsibility for daily operations in the purchasing department.
• Be the point of contact for employees and suppliers.
• Support purchasing and finance administration systems, including stock control and accounts payable.
