Job summary

Flowserve in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands, seeks a hands-on Pump Repair Engineer to repair and upgrade pumps from dismantling to testing and delivery. You will handle small pumps independently and larger repairs as part of a team, with opportunities to grow into a pump expert.

The role requires knowledge of pumps, strong communication, and the ability to meet deadlines. Dutch and English fluency is preferred; occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with pump repairs from dismantling to reassembly.
• Ability to read inspection reports and translate customer requirements into repair proposals.
• Strong communication skills to discuss findings with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling pumps to assess repairability or replacement needs.
• Using precision measuring equipment to determine component dimensions.
• Prepare inspection reports and repair recommendations across many pump types.
• Translate customer requirements into feasible repair proposals.
• Explain inspection reports in internal and customer meetings.
