Job summary

Flowserve in Etten-Leur seeks an all-round mechanical seal repair technician to perform complete seal repairs from start to finish. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, measure parts and prepare repair recommendations to meet strict deadlines.

You will collaborate with Assembly, Welding & Machining, Engineering and Planning while developing hands-on skills, interpreting drawings and ensuring quality, safety and timely shipment.

Qualifications

• MBO Mechanical Engineering (or strong mechanical background) is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in basic PC software (Word, Excel, ERP).
• Dutch language fluency and basic English knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean and inspect seals to assess parts for repair or replacement.
• Use precision measuring equipment to map dimensions of parts and components.
• Prepare inspection reports and repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with Assembly, Welding & Machining, Engineering and Planning/Work Preparation.
• Attend consignment shifts once every two months for a one-week period.
