Job summary

ExxonMobil Netherlands seeks a Netherlands Public & Government Affairs Manager to shape, protect and enhance the company’s reputation at the community level. Lead socioeconomic initiatives, budgeting, emergency planning and media engagement across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in reputation management and stakeholder engagement.
• Crisis communications experience including emergency response.
• Strong understanding of government relations and public affairs.
• Proven ability to manage community and media relations.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Socioeconomic and community programs aligned with business goals.
• Engage with communities, local groups and influencers to build trust.
• Oversee community grievance management and coordinate with internal teams.
• Support emergency response planning and stakeholder communications.
• Lead communications and media activities for ExxonMobil Netherlands.
