Job summary

AEGIR-Marine is seeking a Service Engineer – Propulsion to represent our propulsion service across Europe. Based near our hubs in The Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, or Estonia, or linked via the Dutch entity for Belgium residents.

You’ll service, analyze, and improve mechanical aspects of propulsion systems, travel globally for hands-on support, and provide technical reports for customers. You will work in a technically driven environment with strong team support, balancing on-site service with

Qualifications

Hands-on servicing propulsion systems, including thrusters and CPP.
Willingness to travel abroad and hold a valid driving license.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality service and technical support on the mechanical parts of propulsion systems, either independently or with the team.
Analyze complex technical issues and translate them into practical, reliable solutions.
Travel to shipyards and vessels worldwide to perform on-site service.
Work with CPP, thrusters, seals, and bearings across propulsion systems.
Prepare clear technical reports and advise customers on maintenance and optimization.
