Job summary

AEGIR-Marine BV is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to service, analyse and improve propulsion systems, both remotely and on site, with travel to shipyards and vessels worldwide. You will work with CPP, thrusters, seals and bearings, and prepare technical reports while advising customers on maintenance and optimisation.

The role blends hands-on engineering with customer-facing responsibilities in a globally operating company.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or maritime engineering.
• Servicing propulsion systems such as thrusters and CPP.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to travel abroad and work independently or in a team.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality service and technical support to customers on propulsion systems, independently or with others.
• Analysing technical issues and translating them into practical solutions.
• Travelling to shipyards and vessels worldwide to execute on-site service.
• Working with propulsion systems including CPP, thrusters, seals and bearings.
• Preparing technical reports and advising customers on maintenance and optimisation.
