Descripción del empleo

As a Project Support Officer (PSO) within our Completion & Engineering Services (CES) department, you play an important role in supporting the successful execution of large and complex VVIP and Special Mission aircraft projects.

You will become part of our Project Management Office (PMO), working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are well-organized, properly documented and effectively coordinated. From preparing project meetings and monitoring action points to maintaining project management tools and supporting project activities, you help keep everything running smoothly.

In this role, you act as the right hand of the Project Manager, ensuring that project information is accurate, stakeholders stay informed and important actions are followed up on time. You also contribute to improving PMO processes, procedures and working methods within our growing CES organization.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about project management and wants to further develop their skills. With the right ambition and motivation, the role can be a valuable steppingstone towards becoming a Project Manager within Fokker Services Group.

As Project Support Officer CES, you will:

Support Project Managers in the daily coordination and administration of complex aircraft modification and completion projects.

Prepare and coordinate Project Team Meetings (PTMs), including agendas, meeting minutes and action tracking.

Maintain and update project management tools, documentation and reporting systems.

Monitor project progress, risks, actions and deliverables, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.

Manage project documentation, including document control, Management of Change registrations, Lessons Learned registers and squawk lists.

Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are completed on time.

Support Project Managers in coordinating smaller activities and subprojects within larger aircraft modification projects.

Contribute to developing, standardizing and improving PMO procedures, templates and working methods.

Support the Head of Large Projects with general PMO activities and organizational improvements.

Represent the PMO during meetings or project activities when required.

How you are valuable to us

You are an enthusiastic and proactive team player who enjoys bringing structure to complex activities. You have a natural interest in project management, communicate easily with different stakeholders and know how to keep track of multiple tasks and priorities.

You work accurately, take initiative and are comfortable following up with colleagues to ensure commitments are met. Most importantly, you are eager to learn and motivated to develop your career within project management.

We are looking for someone with:

An Associate degree or Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in Aviation Studies, Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline.

Relevant working experience, preferably within a project-based or technical environment.

An interest in aviation, engineering and complex project environments.

Experience with ERP systems and project planning tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Project (MSP), Envision or EpicFlow is an advantage.

Strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

A proactive, enthusiastic and solution-oriented mindset.

Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

An IPMA-D certification, or the willingness to obtain this qualification.

A reference check is part of our recruitment process.

Experience within aerospace or aircraft maintenance and modifications is an advantage, but your motivation to learn and develop within project management is equally important.
