Job summary

ELINEX in the Netherlands is seeking a proactive Project Preparator to join our Projects team. You ensure that the right people and materials are where they need to be, identify bottlenecks, and support project managers with data, post-calculations and reports.

You will maintain contacts with customers, suppliers and colleagues, participate in project discussions, and help plan and execute projects from start to finish, contributing to margins and quality.

Job description

For our Projects department, we are looking for an energetic project preparator, someone who is a true team player and knows how to take action!

What will you do as a Project Preparator?

As a project preparator, you work in our project team. You primarily ensure that the right people and materials are in the right place at the right time. You go through projects in detail and identify bottlenecks. Additionally, you are responsible for accurate documentation processing and making post-calculations & reports. You maintain contact with our customers, suppliers, and your colleague project managers and engineers. On a regular basis, you accompany to project discussions and project locations.

Furthermore, you will engage in:

• Studying incoming orders/quotes.
• Making and monitoring the planning and progress of the project together with the responsible project manager.
• Ordering materials and directing third parties in consultation with the responsible project manager.
• Processing data from project-related questions;
• Identifying improvements, providing feedback, and discussing with project managers and engineers
• Making post-calculations and reports based on ongoing and completed projects, in this way you support the project manager in achieving the set margins.
• Managing the project file.
