Job summary

CVL:LDN is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data centre infrastructure project in the Netherlands. This hands-on role interfaces between the client and principal contractor, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

You will manage programme changes, communicate impacts clearly, and ensure teams work from the latest approved information. Strong leadership and piping knowledge of utility drawings are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on project management experience on utility capital projects.
• Strong programme and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main interface between the principal contractor and client.
• Proactively communicate changes and potential impacts to the principal contractor and commercial team.
• Monitor programme, progress and project changes.
• Liaise with Planning, Commercial, Health & Safety and Quality teams.
• Maintain a strong understanding of utility drawings and revisions.
• Ensure information is delegated to site management and teams follow latest approved information.
• Oversee a large team of direct staff and subcontractors.

Our client is a leading international Civil Engineering company who are looking to strengthen the team working on high profile data centre projects throughout Europe with this particular project in the Netherlands.

The Project Manager role is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, managing people, coordinating multiple disciplines and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

• Salary to £120k or Euro equivalent
• Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
• Fully Expensed Accommodation
• Flight Allowance
• 25 Days Holiday + Public Holidays

• Must be flexible to work on a rota basis
• 10-hour working day (Monday to Friday) + Overtime if Required

Project Manager Key Essentials:

• As Project Manager you will work closely with senior management and act as the main interface between the principal contractor and client
• Proactively communicate changes and potential impacts to the principal contractor and commercial team
• Monitor programme, progress and project changes
• Liaise with Planning, Commercial, Health & Safety and Quality teams
• Maintain a strong understanding of utility drawings and drawing revisions
• Ensure that information is delegated to site management and that teams are always working to the latest approved information
• Overall responsibility for a large team of direct staff and subcontractors

Project Manager Requirements:

• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Proven hands‑on project management experience of utility capital projects
• Strong programme and stakeholder management experience
• Good understanding of utility drawings
• Excellent communication and people skills
