Job summary

SMS Intermediair in Amsterdam seeks a packaging project manager responsible for end-to-end management of packaging activities. You will clarify goals, set quality standards, and secure stakeholder buy-in to drive projects forward.

You will lead project execution, monitor budgets with monthly and quarterly reporting, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with design processes while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As packaging project manager, you are responsible for the end to end project management of packaging projects.

• Clarifying and aligning project goals, specify quality standards and get stakeholder buy-in.
• Manage the project execution towards the timely realization of the agreed deliverables
• Budget management and reporting on monthly, quarterly and on project basis, ensuring the spend is according to forecast and in line with expectations of the business.
• Stakeholder management across business and marketing teams – identifying and leveraging the right kind of expertise for best in class packaging – this includes alignment with legal department for compliance.
• Manage and coordinate suppliers involved in the projects
• Working in a structured and methodical way
• Maintain a fluid channel of communication with your stakeholders

The offer

• 32-40 hours p/week, preferably 24-32 hours at the office;
• Salary € 5000-5500gros per month (based on 40 hours p/week) OR
• Freelance allin € 80,- ex VAT;
• Timeframe: Immediately - Dec 2026;
• Secondment or freelance via SMS Intermediair;
