Job summary

Spacewell is seeking a Project Manager to lead successful IT SaaS implementations for international clients. You will plan, coordinate and deliver multiple projects with a hands-on mentality in a dynamic team.

Based in the Netherlands, you bring HBO-level thinking, PM training, at least 5 years of IT project leadership, Dutch as native and good English. You’ll benefit from flexible hours, a market salary, and a comprehensive package including a lease car, mobile phone and home-working allowances.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a project manager in IT, preferably SaaS.
• HBO education with PM training and hands-on project delivery experience.
• Native Dutch speaker living in the Netherlands with good English.
• Strong planning, budgeting and tendering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Draw up a project plan and supervise its implementation.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects.
• Determine scope and plan the work accordingly.
• Assemble a team of competent consultants.
• Maintain a helicopter view on implementation of solutions.
• Prepare kickoff presentations and coordinate stakeholders.
• Monitor planning, scope and budget.
• Track progress, ensure quality, identify bottlenecks and act.
• Create and maintain a risk log and take timely action.
• Periodically report to manager and client on progress, budget and risks.
• Manage expectations internally and externally.
• Build long-term relationships and identify commercial opportunities.

As a Project Manager you are responsible for successful implementations and the satisfaction of our customers. You will have a leading role for different projects that you will do simultaneously, based on knowledge and experience. You will work in a team with a motivated and dynamic team of professionals.

As a project manager you are responsible for:

• Drawing up a project plan and making agreements and supervising its implementation;
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects;
• Determine the scope and implementation of the project and plan the work accordingly;
• Assembling a team of competent consultants;
• Maintaining a helicopter view on the implementation of our solutions;
• Preparing a kick-off presentation in which you seek coordination between all stakeholders;
• Monitoring the project planning, project scope and budget;
• Monitoring project and/or task progress, ensuring optimal quality, identifying bottlenecks and acting accordingly;
• Creating and maintaining a risk log and taking timely action for all risks;
• Periodically reporting to your manager and client on project progress, budget quality and risks;
• Managing expectations both internally and externally;
• Building long-term relationships with existing and new customers and identifying commercial opportunities.

You have the following:

• A professional HBO education and thinking level, supplemented with training in project management and relevant work experience in this field;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the role of project manager in the IT industry, preferably of SaaS solutions;
• Good teaching skills;
• Analytical and process-oriented thinking skills;
• Knowledge and experience in drawing up project plans, project budgets and tenders;
• Knowledge and experience in leading projects and functionally managing project teams;
• Living in the Netherlands and your native language is Dutch;
• Good knowledge of the English language.

• In addition to flexible working hours and the option to work from home, you will receive a market-conform salary and secondary employment conditions (including a lease car) in line with your experience, a bonus plan based on company turnover, mobile phone and laptop, 28 days of vacation per year and a home working allowance of €50 net per month.
