Job summary

Flevum in the Netherlands is seeking a Project Manager Events to plan and deliver around 25 events per year, collaborating with clients and partners and guiding projects from A to Z to meet agreements.

You will build a strong network through intensive stakeholder contact, support a project team, and engage with C-level executives from top Dutch companies, enjoying growth opportunities and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s considered a plus.
• 1–2 years in a similar role desirable.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English; able to write clearly and concisely.

About the Position

As a Project Manager Events, you are responsible for the organization and delivery of around 25 events per year in collaboration with our clients and partners. You are involved in the organization from A to Z and ensure that the event is delivered according to the agreements. Through your intensive contact with our network and clients, you will quickly build your own network and, thanks to your commercial mindset, ensure that clients continue to grow. You do this together with the rest of our project team consisting of project managers, secretariat, database and marketing.

What are You Going to Do?

• Stakeholder management: You are the link between our clients, the network and Flevum and know how to bring the wishes of each party together.
• Research and networking: You conduct creative and targeted research into relevant topics and expand your network by attending events and holding discussions with C-level executives as potential speakers.
• Monitoring processes: You keep an overview of all your different projects, know exactly when actions need to be taken and communicate proactively about the status and challenges.
• Event management: After preparing your event, you will also be present on the evening itself to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

What Do You Bring?

• Education: At least a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Passion: You have a passion for building strong connections with people at different levels.
• Interest: You are interested in topics such as business, technology and leadership and are curious about new topics and trends.
• Skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, and you can write in both a detailed and concise, targeted manner. You like schedules and overviews and can monitor them well, so you never lose sight of priorities. You have a business-oriented mindset and get energy from multitasking.
• Personality: You have a high sense of responsibility, are structured in your work and bring a positive atmosphere to the office.
