Job summary

Certhon Build B.V. is seeking an Electrical Sales Engineer to design electrical and computer-technical components for innovative horticultural projects, from high-tech greenhouses to climate cells.

You will drive the full design process, calculate project costs in the ERP system, and collaborate with a small, skilled team in an open, informal environment. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams, deliver tailored solutions for each project, and participate in customer meetings to provide

What You'll Be Doing

As a Electrical Sales Engineer, you design all electrical and computer‑technical components for our innovative horticultural projects: from high‑tech greenhouses to climate cells. You connect the entire design process from start to finish and calculate the project costs in our ERP system. You work in a small, close‑knit team of three experienced colleagues in an open and informal environment where collaboration, idea‑sharing, and knowledge exchange play a key role.

You also work in multidisciplinary project teams with specialists in water technology, structural engineering, and climate technology. Together, you form one technical unit, brainstorming to find the best solutions.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Creating layout drawings in AutoCAD;
• Performing cable and power calculations;
• Calculating project costs, including labor, in our ERP system;
• Consulting with suppliers, both technically and commercially;
• Preparing the quotation and and reviewing it with the sales team;
• Joining regularly customer meetings to provide expert technical advice;
• Organizing project handovers and knowledge‑sharing sessions with the work preparation team.

Who are you?

• You have relevant experience in a similar role and an affinity with the horticultural sector. Experience in horticulture is a plus, not a requirement.
• You are commercially minded and passionate about technology and solving complex technical challenges.
• You are critical, inventive, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and are comfortable working with numbers.
• You work accurately, maintain oversight, and collaborate effectively with others.
• You have strong communication skills in Dutch and/or English (reading and writing).
