Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in technology consulting, due diligence, technology strategy, digital transformation, or technology leadership.
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams or engagements, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Strong fundamentals with expertise in product/engineering, software architecture and cloud, data/AI, cybersecurity, or operating models.
• Significant experience in insurance, capital markets, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain.
• Ability to move between technical detail and business discussions, identifying issues that affect clients and investments.
• Experience with private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or high-growth tech is preferred.
• Excellent structured thinking, written communication, and storytelling; ability to create clear narratives.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and commercial mindset with client relationship focus.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead complex client engagements from initial scoping through delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with senior investors, boards, and management teams through clear communication.

This is a senior, client-facing role focused on helping private equity investors and technology businesses create value through technology. You will lead complex engagements spanning technology strategy, due diligence, transformation, cybersecurity, AI, and operational execution. The role combines deep technical expertise with commercial thinking, requiring you to translate complex findings into clear, decision-useful recommendations. You will work directly with senior investors, boards, and management teams, building trusted relationships and guiding critical decisions. Alongside leading multidisciplinary teams, you will develop a recognised functional specialism and contribute to broader technology value-creation initiatives. Accountabilities

• Independently lead complex client engagements from initial scoping through high-quality delivery, balancing project management, team leadership, client service, and commercial considerations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior investors, boards, and management teams by applying sound judgment, communicating clearly, and making complex technology topics accessible.
• Lead technical due diligence and technology-focused engagements, identifying material risks, opportunities, and priorities for post-deal value creation.
• Assess areas including technology strategy, product and engineering capabilities, architecture, cloud platforms, delivery performance, data and AI, cybersecurity, scalability, technical debt, and operating models.
• Translate technical findings into commercial implications related to growth, customer outcomes, margins, investment risk, timing, capital requirements, and value creation.
• Produce concise reports, executive presentations, and workshops that connect analysis to the decisions clients need to make.
• Develop a recognised functional specialism while maintaining sufficient breadth to lead integrated discussions and direct multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to commercial diligence, investment thesis development, and value-creation engagements where technology plays a central role.
• Strengthen client relationships, support repeat business and proposition development, and mentor colleagues as the practice grows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in technology consulting, technology due diligence, technology strategy, digital transformation, or technology leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing workstreams or engagements, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering high-quality, decision-ready outputs.
• Strong technology fundamentals with demonstrable expertise in at least one area such as product and engineering, software architecture and cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, software delivery, or technology operating models.
• Significant experience within a business domain such as insurance, capital markets, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain.
• Ability to move confidently between technical detail and business-level discussions, identifying the issues that materially affect clients and investment cases.
• Experience with private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or high-growth technology businesses is strongly preferred.
• Excellent structured thinking, written communication, presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear and compelling narratives.
• Collaborative, action-oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively and the curiosity to expand beyond an initial area of expertise.
