Revenue Control & IFRS 15
- Review and analyze customer contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment under IFRS 15.
- Assess performance obligations, pricing structures, delivery milestones, acceptance criteria, and other contractual terms impacting revenue recognition.
- Ensure accurate monthly revenue postings in accordance with IFRS requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex revenue recognition issues and exceptions.
- Serve as a key point of contact for revenue accounting and IFRS 15-related matters across the organization.
- Support internal and external audits, including discussions with auditors regarding revenue recognition methodologies and accounting treatments.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the Accounts Receivable function regarding invoicing and revenue-related accounting activities.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls related to revenue and contract accounting.
- Monitor the alignment between commercial agreements, invoicing processes, and financial reporting.
Financial Control & Accounting Oversight
- Provide guidance and oversight to the Accounts Receivable function regarding invoicing and revenue-related accounting activities.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls related to revenue and contract accounting.
- Monitor the alignment between commercial agreements, invoicing processes, and financial reporting.
Business Partnering & Process Improvement
- Work closely with Planning, Operations, and Commercial teams to validate business assumptions and financial impacts.
- Review demand forecasts and sales pipeline information originating from Salesforce to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
- Challenge business stakeholders when data, assumptions, or contract structures create accounting or reporting risks.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the order-to-cash, contract management, and revenue recognition processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing optimization of Microsoft Dynamics and related financial systems.
Project Control (Limited Scope)
- Review legacy and ongoing projects from a financial perspective.
- Analyze project costs, commitments, and completion status.
- Determine project closure readiness and ensure proper financial treatment of remaining balances.
- Support the clean-up and optimization of historical project accounting records.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Control, Revenue Control, Accounting, Audit, or Project Finance.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial contracts from an accounting perspective.
- Ability to navigate complex accounting issues while balancing business realities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, and familiarity with Salesforce is considered an advantage.
