Job summary

E-Tales is a digital commerce agency based in Groningen with around twenty colleagues. You will coordinate e-commerce projects, support planning, and work with developers and marketing colleagues to keep projects well organized and on track.

You’ll focus on timely planning, clear action points, and smooth communication between project leaders and the rest of the team, with opportunities to grow into a project leader role.

E-Tales is looking for a Project Coordinator E-commerce in Groningen. We are growing, and that makes it increasingly important that our digital projects stay well organised. In this role you make sure that planning, project support and coordination are properly handled. Every day you work together with project leaders, developers and marketing colleagues on e-commerce projects for various clients.
Our project leaders are responsible for the content and the contact with clients. You make sure that development, marketing and internal projects stay well organised and that actions are followed up.
You safeguard the process, keep an overview and flag in time when something threatens to get stuck.

E-Tales is a digital commerce agency from Groningen with around twenty colleagues. We develop and maintain e-commerce platforms, webshops and digital solutions for our clients. Alongside development, we also work on online marketing and other digital projects for our clients.

What you will do

• You work on e-commerce projects for a wide range of clients, supporting developers and project leaders with the planning, progress and organisation of projects.
• You check whether user stories are complete and workable before they reach the development team, and in doing so support the planning of our software and e-commerce projects.
• You manage the planning and keep priorities visible for developers.
• You safeguard estimates and deadlines.
• You support project leaders with client presentations and status reports.
• You keep track of which actions are open and make sure they are followed up.
• You record action points from meetings and monitor progress.
• You gather improvement ideas from developers and discuss them with the right project leader.
• You prepare invoices and check them against the work carried out.
• You keep an overview of the tools, licences and module or security updates used by clients and projects.
• You support internal projects and marketing projects, help with the planning and make sure actions and priorities are clear.
• You enjoy working together with colleagues from different disciplines, such as development, marketing and project management.

What we are looking for

You have experience in a coordinating or project-based role.
You do not need to be able to code, but you understand how a development team works within a software or e-commerce environment and enjoy working together with developers and project leaders.
In addition:

• you work in a structured and accurate way;
• you communicate easily with colleagues;
• you take initiative;
• you have an affinity with digital projects;
• you like to look at how processes can be set up more smartly or efficiently, for example with AI tools or automation;
• it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language, since you work closely with colleagues and internal communication takes place mainly in Dutch.

Nice to have

A bonus, but not a requirement:

• experience with Monday.com is a strong plus
• experience at a digital agency or in a technical environment;
• familiarity with user stories, sprints and tickets;
• experience with other project management tools such as Notion.

You love having an overview and enjoy working in a structured way. You see in time when something threatens to get stuck and do not wait for someone else to solve it.
You are not a micromanager, but you do not let loose ends develop either. After a meeting you know exactly which actions there are and you make sure they are picked up.

• A salary between 2,500 and 3,700 euros gross per month based on a full-time contract, depending on experience.
