Job summary

A global technology service provider is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure deployment across multiple aviation environments in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have proven experience overseeing complex network projects, strong stakeholder management skills, and familiarity with aviation operations. This position offers a contract term of 1 year, which is extendable.

Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale LAN and Wi‑Fi infrastructure deployment across multiple aviation environments. This role requires strong expertise in managing complex network implementation programs, robust stakeholder management skills, and a strategic understanding of aviation operations. The position will focus particularly on projects in the Netherlands, requiring familiarity with local regulatory, operational, and cultural contexts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management – Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of LAN and Wi‑Fi deployment initiatives across multiple sites globally, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including technology teams and operational partners across international locations.
  • Technical Collaboration – Partner with technical teams to oversee network design, architecture, and implementation activities, ensuring deliverables align with technical standards, security protocols, and customer expectations.
  • Governance & Reporting – Implement program governance structures, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver progress updates and performance reports to key stakeholders.
  • Vendors & Service Providers – Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure consistent delivery quality and compliance with contractual agreements and SLAs.
  • Budget & Resource Oversight – Manage program budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure all deployments meet relevant safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards, with attention to compliance in France and the Netherlands.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager overseeing large‑scale network infrastructure deployments, preferably within the aviation or transportation sector.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/Wi‑Fi technologies, network security, and enterprise‑level IT environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑site, international programs, including in European regions such as France and the Netherlands.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities, with experience handling cross‑functional global teams.
  • Familiarity with European aviation or transport regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large infrastructure projects or clients in regulated industries.
  • Understanding of airport operational systems, passenger connectivity, or IoT integrations.
  • Fluency in Dutch is an advantage.
  • Contract Term: 1 year (extendable)
