Job summary

Start People in Nijmegen zoekt een Production & Assembly Employee om mee te bouwen aan maatwerkproducten voor flexibele ruimten en systeemoplossingen. Je werkt met hout, aluminium en staal en leert het vak stap voor stap op de werkvloer.

Je bent gemotiveerd, nauwkeurig en wilt graag samenwerken met collega's. Een MBO-kwalificatie is een pré; Nederlanders of Engelstaligen kunnen solliciteren. Opleiding vindt plaats op de werkvloer.

Qualifications

• Geen ervaring vereist; op leren op de werkvloer.
• Praktische instelling en oog voor kwaliteit.
• Beheersing van Nederlands of Engels.
• Graag met je handen werken en nieuwigheden leren.
• Ervaring in productie/metal is een pré maar geen vereiste.
• Woonachtig in Nijmegen (of directe omgeving) en bereidheid te leren.

Responsibilities

• Werken met materialen zoals aluminium en staal aan flexibele ruimten en scheidingswanden.
• Samenstellen van onderdelen volgens technische tekeningen en specificaties.
• Ondersteunen van diverse productie- en bewerkingsprocessen zoals zagen, boren en slijpen.
• Inspecteren van producten op kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid voor verzending.
• Zorgen voor een veilige en georganiseerde werkplek door regels te volgen en gereedschap te onderhouden.

Job description

Do you enjoy working with your hands and would you like to learn a trade through practical experience? Then this is a great opportunity to get started in production. We are looking for a Production & Assembly Employee for a company in the Nijmegen area.

You do not need years of experience. If you are motivated, work accurately, and enjoy learning new things, you will have the opportunity to learn the trade step by step.

You will work with various materials, such as wood, aluminium, and steel, and help manufacture custom-made products for flexible spaces and partition wall, suspended, and roller systems. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that components are manufactured, assembled, and inspected before the finished product is delivered to the customer.

You will be involved in various parts of the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with: materials such as aluminium and steel to manufacture flexible spaces and partition wall, suspended, and roller systems;
• Assembling: components according to technical drawings and specifications;
• Supporting: various production and machining processes, such as sawing, drilling, and grinding;
• Inspecting: products for quality and accuracy before they are shipped;
• Contributing: to a safe and organised workplace by following safety regulations and properly maintaining tools.

Have you never worked with these materials or carried out these tasks before? No problem. Production experience is an advantage, but it is not required. You will learn the tasks on the job and have the opportunity to gradually work more independently.

We are mainly looking for someone who is eager to get started and enjoys learning new things. You do not need to know everything already.
