Job summary

ENJOB Personeelsdiensten is seeking a Food Production Worker for the Horst facility. The role is full-time during the busy season, with a starting pay of €14.99 gross per hour.

You will join a team handling fresh blueberries in a chilled environment, performing sorting, inspection and packing to ensure high quality products leave the production line. This seasonal position includes pension accrual from day one, 8% holiday allowance, and flexible weekly or four-weekly pay options.

Do you like hands-on work and being part of a team?

As a Food Production Worker, you will work with fresh blueberries. You will sort, inspect and pack the product, making sure together with your colleagues that only high-quality products leave the production facility. You will work in a chilled production environment where hygiene and accuracy are important.

This is seasonal work. Production will increase significantly during the upcoming busy season and will decrease again after the Christmas period.

Who you will be working with

You will work as part of a diverse team of production workers. Colleagues from different nationalities work together on the production floor, so it is important that you can communicate well in either Dutch or English.

What working here feels like

During the busy season, production moves at a fast pace. Together with your colleagues, you make sure the blueberries are carefully inspected, sorted and packed. You will work in a chilled environment and follow clear hygiene and food safety procedures.

What you will do

As a Food Production Worker, you will be involved in different parts of the production process.

  • Sorting blueberries
  • Checking the quality of the product
  • Packing blueberries
  • Identifying and removing products that do not meet the quality standards
  • Keeping your workplace clean and hygienic
  • Working together with colleagues to keep production running smoothly
  • Following all applicable safety and hygiene procedures

No endless list of tasks.

What we ask from you
  • You are motivated and comfortable with physical work
  • You can work accurately, even when the pace is high
  • You have sufficient Dutch or English language skills to communicate on the production floor
  • Polish language skills are a plus
  • You are comfortable working in a chilled production environment
  • You are able to follow strict hygiene regulations
  • During work, you cannot wear jewellery, artificial nails or other items that are not permitted under the hygiene regulations

Working hours

You will work either an early or late shift.

Early shift
06:00 – 14:00, with possible overtime until 15:30
Monday to Saturday

Late shift
Starts between 12:00 and 14:00, depending on how busy production is
You work until production and clean-up are finished
Monday to Friday

Flexibility regarding your finishing time is important, as working hours depend on production volumes and workload.
