Job summary

AXIS Career in Heerewaarden is seeking a driven Production Team Leader to supervise operators and production employees in Hall 11, ensuring production and packaging stay on schedule in a modern, international environment.

You will prepare daily operations, monitor processes and quality, and lead cleaning, maintenance, and issue resolution while motivating the team and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 diploma or relevant work experience.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to perform physical work.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
• Full-time availability in a 3-shift schedule.
• Accurate, careful, and results-oriented approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily operations, including shift handovers and starting up the mixing installation.
• Monitor production processes, inventory levels, and quality standards, while resolving any deviations or issues.
• Oversee and perform cleaning activities on machinery and production areas.
• Carry out first-line maintenance and assist external technicians during complex breakdowns.
• Provide work instructions, coach and motivate team members, and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
