Responsibilities

• Support production teams with technical solutions during construction, ensuring designs are feasible and buildable
• Act as the link between engineering and production, clarifying drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation
• Identify technical issues and bottlenecks, proposing effective and practical solutions
• Assess manufacturability and optimize designs in collaboration with engineering and production teams
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, and internal quality standards
• Review and check engineering output before release to production
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of systems and structures
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and production processes

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• EU citizenship is required
• At least 3 years of experience as an engineer in this discipline or 3 years as a production support engineer in a similar organization
• Practical knowledge of production and construction methods (e.g. welding, machining, composites, outfitting)
• Experience working with CAD tools (AutoCAD) and PLM systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter or similar)
• Good understanding of industry standards, including Class & Flag regulations, and safety/quality procedures
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to solve technical challenges on site
• Hands‑on experience in a production or shipyard environment
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
