Responsibilities
- Support production teams with technical solutions during construction, ensuring designs are feasible and buildable
- Act as the link between engineering and production, clarifying drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation
- Identify technical issues and bottlenecks, proposing effective and practical solutions
- Assess manufacturability and optimize designs in collaboration with engineering and production teams
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, and internal quality standards
- Review and check engineering output before release to production
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of systems and structures
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and production processes
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- EU citizenship is required
- At least 3 years of experience as an engineer in this discipline or 3 years as a production support engineer in a similar organization
- Practical knowledge of production and construction methods (e.g. welding, machining, composites, outfitting)
- Experience working with CAD tools (AutoCAD) and PLM systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter or similar)
- Good understanding of industry standards, including Class & Flag regulations, and safety/quality procedures
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to solve technical challenges on site
- Hands‑on experience in a production or shipyard environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
