Job summary

AXIS Career is seeking a Production Operator in Lelystad, Netherlands. You will ensure machines run smoothly and production proceeds according to schedule, operating and setting up machinery, adjusting between runs, performing quality checks, and recording data.

You will work in a 3-shift pattern (06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00) Sunday evening to Friday evening, with good English and transport access required.

Job description

As a Production Operator, you are an important part of the production process. You make sure the machines are running properly and that production continues according to schedule.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating and setting up production machines;
• Changing and adjusting machines between different production runs;
• Performing quality checks on the products;
• Identifying and solving minor technical issues;
• Cleaning and maintaining the machines;
• Recording production data, malfunctions and solutions;
• Thinking along about improvements to the production process;
• Working closely with your colleagues to keep production running smoothly.You will work in a 3-shift schedule:
  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00
  • 22:00 – 06:00The factory operates from Sunday evening until Friday evening.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with machines and already has experience in a production environment.

You preferably have:

• Experience as a Production Operator, Machine Operator, Machine Technician or Production Worker;
• Experience in the food industry is a strong advantage;
• At least MBO 1/2 working and thinking level or equivalent practical experience;
• Technical experience and an interest in machinery;
• Good command of the English language;
• Willingness to work full-time in a 3-shift schedule;
• Your own transport to reach our location in Lelystad;
